With the Justice League movie set for a 2015 release, it's no surprise that rumors are beginning to show up. The latest of which gives us some inside information on a possible villain for the movie.
If these rumors are to be believed true. The villain that the Justice League might battle can be non-other than Darkseid.
Darkseid is one of the most powerful characters in the DC universe. He first appeared in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #134. His main goal is simply to control all life. His abilities include super strength, teleportation, endurance and his main power the "Omega beam". This is a beam of light which he fires from his eyes, it can be used to both destroy and resurrect anything made out of matter.
Even though Darkseid is immensely powerful, he chooses to avoid direct physical contact. He prefers to control others and manipulate the odds in his favor. This could mean we could be looking at multiple villains in one movie.
Do you believe these rumors to be true? Are you happy to see DC throwing in one of their most powerful villains in their first movie? I just hope that DC isn't going to use all those tricks up there sleeve in one movie. I'd hate to see the franchise run out of decent ideas so early in its life span.
