Bravo's Weekly Anime Lineup #25

This week's anime screenshot is from Fuuka!

This is when a bunch of the anime starts ending! We will be doing our final thoughts on a few shows this week. If they keep their regular running schedule! Next week more will drop out. I am getting together which one I'm going to writing about for Spring already and will tell you soon! Anyway, let's get right into it! Make sure your up to date and we'll jump right in!

March 14th, Tuesday:

Onihei:

Another storytelling episode kind of like last time. The new guy was an interesting and likable character for sure! It was sad how his life was. I felt so bad for him! Nothing really stands out to comment on. It was still very nice and interesting episode, though. I do feel bad about saying this, but that little girl's bigger smile with the teeth? Really creepy to me. I know it's wrong since she's just a kid but come on you see it to right?! Either way, a good episode if you enjoy the show! Not one to miss for sure!

Nobunaga No Shinobi:

This episode was Chidori vs ninja from another group. It wasn't an official fight but it was still cool. Chidori has met a match it seems! Don't get me wrong, she won but barely! I wonder if she'll manage to get by when they meet up again for the official battle! This was a good episode, a bit more serious in tone but still really awesome! I liked it!

ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka:

God why can't this show ever be exciting? Just political and corruption talk! Bla bla bla all through the episode! There was almost something cool in the beginning with a card bet on who could get the throne. That could have been more interesting but no! Just more talk about the worlds most boring coup plans! God let this show end yes it has good traits but good god! BORING.

Hand Shakers:

This was pretty cool! The episode had them hanging out with other Hand Shakers though. One thing I notice though! The Hand Shakers in the beginning never really show up! What gives? I kind of wanted to know more about them! The thing that's really interesting...yet kind of out of the blue and creates plot holes is the new guy with his own little Koyori it seems. At the end they briefly showed a flashback from when Scientist guy was a Hand Shaker! Turns out they were partners and they had hand shaker twins that looked like Koyori!

Except that doesn't make sense...isn't Koyori the main character's sister? That doesn't make any sense! I'm interested but this better have a good explanation! Good episode despite everything, though! It really caught my attention!

Kemono Friends:

This episode was the girls at a hotel! We saw a new owl girl, a wolf girl and a giraffe girl! All of them were very cute and they solved a little mystery! The other ones that are chasing them are catching up a well. They probably will by the time the last episodes happen. The last two will most likely have them all together. I look forward to it! This episode was really nice though! The new characters were very adorable as well! I recommend it if you're following this show already!

Nanbaka (2017):

This was really good! I know I totally shouldn't but I love the warden. He is absolutely stunning design wise and such. The new guards were pretty cool to but they seem like they might be scared of the warden. The cool thing was Jyugo using his power on the people trapping them! That I really liked! I can't wait until the next episode this was really great!

March 15th, Wednesday:

Akiba's Trip The Animation:

The show's finale will be a two-part saga! Not at all uncommon. They were going to have an Akiba culture festival basically. The twist at the end is that those bad things stopped it from happening. They are the morality people trying to stop the perverted otaku culture. I like when anime's make statements like that against censorship culture so I enjoyed this. I can't wait to see how it ends! The new villains look cool and this was a good episode if you ask me!

Piace: Watashi No Italian:

This episode had all the characters at a festival! That I really enjoyed, I love festival episodes to! The food in it looked so good! Made me hungry! When I took a break from writing the article I went and checked to see if there was anything good I could eat! It was nice and a pretty good one from this series! I definitely liked it!

One Room:

This episode was pretty good as well! The girl seems to be considering quitting if she doesn't get success as fast as she wants. Obviously we'll be the one to encourage her to go forward no matter what and become her lover since that's how this show works. It was an OK episode. Nothing really stands out enough for me to mention, though.

Kobayashi-san Chi No Dragon Maid:

This episode was about Christmas! I really liked it actually! The play was really cute and all the other stuff was to! I have no complaints about this episode at all! It really was an overall good one! I think my favorite part was the play most likely. The fanservice wasn't as heavily shoved down my throat this episode which I also appreciate. This was a great one for sure and the end was funny as well. I highly recommend it!

ChäoS;Child:

After some exposition it's revealed the redhead was created by the main guy. The father also was the start of all these murders. Those were the two big things in the episode. It was a good one but this show tells more than it shows. I notice that more and it bothers me. I wish they'd show some more emotion then just talking us through it like it's a novel. Either way a pretty good episode!

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 2:

The shows finale! It ended in a very similar way to the first season. They did a cool thing it was a cool fight scene but they were still treated like garbage. They purified the waters but made it regular water in the process. It was a funny end to a funny series. I enjoyed it!

Overall I give this show a 7/10. It is funny but I don't understand the super mega popularity. The show mostly relies on a more realistic and negative sense of humor. It is funny but they act like it's some groundbreaking thing. Meanwhile other shows have done it before. The show is good in all regards but it's subjective I would say. It takes a very particular person to REALLY love the show. It was a good one though, not the best for me but a good one!

March 16th, Thursday:

Masamune-Kun No Revenge:

This episode is the first part of the finale I suppose. Everything in the world seems to be stopping Masamune from seeing Aki. Other students, illness, you name it. The other guy seems nice enough but still something isn't right. There has to be something off about the guy, since we know clearly who the real Masamune is! The funny part was when the Mom character wrapped him up in a big blanket in the beginning. It was cute and made me laugh. A good episode, I do look forward to seeing what happens next!

Marginal#4: Kiss kara Tsukuru Big Bang:

This episode was all our idol boys getting together for some training and some cooking! Don't know how they work together but whatever I guess. It was a pretty amusing laid back episode. Not super funny or anything like that, but still a good one from this series! The cast of characters is really adorable and nowhere near boring. So even them doing mundane things is pretty amusing. It was a good episode and I did like it! If you already enjoy this show, I'm sure you would like this one as well!

Super Lovers 2:

Finally! It's over! Part of the episode was a flashback. It was honestly mostly laid back except the flashback. It seems like the new brown-haired guy is here to stay in this show. I honestly only laughed at one line. The teacher saying that no good could come from being around these siblings. For once I agree with this show! I don't like any of these characters and I'm glad this show is over.

Normally when I'm rating shows my own personal enjoyment is only one small factor in the final score. I take into account everything the show has, the art the music and everything else. That's why some anime's have higher ratings than you may expect on my profile. Sometimes though something about a show is so bad, I can't resist and have to ignore everything else. This is one of those times and in that spirit, I give 4/10 to this show!

This anime to me is annoying on an unforgivable level. The art, music and animation is fine. Heck for yaoi anime it has a lot of quality!

Still I cannot forgive the character's or story. I find each character in this dumb show very unlikable. The ones that might even be a bit likable don't show up enough. The couple has 0 chemistry yet the show wants them to be together anyway! If you like yaoi, move away! There is so much better out there just waiting to be watched! In fact there is some great yaoi that hasn't been adapted into an anime yet! Ten Count comes to mind, since it's one I enjoy a lot! If you are a regular anime fan I don't recommend this either. It just all around sucks and you'll want to punch every single character in it, that I guarantee.

All Out!!:

This episode was another game! It had a bit more Sumiaki in it which I appreciate it. Gion has a rivalry with the other guy they are competing against. The next episode will be him getting serious and kicking ass! He is already fired up, now he's mad and ready to win! This is going to be really good I can tell! I'm excited to see what happens next and this was a great setup for it!

Kuzu No Honkai:

This episode featured more of the teacher and the main guy of the show. She calls herself a slut at the end of the episode yet has no remorse for all the heartbreak she's caused! She is certainly well written but I hate her as a person nonetheless. The brother is an idiot for staying with her! He'll only be hurt by her in the end! She is manipulative and awful and I hope he comes to his senses and drops her by the end of the show! A good episode but an emotionally intense ride that's for sure!

March 17th, Friday:

Urara Meirochou:

Chiya has a new and honestly really cool ability. I expected the teachers to see it and say it was forbidden or something. That actually didn't happen for once! There was the funny stuff with the other 3 in the main group, and the serious stuff with Chiya in that weird place. I have a feeling the rabbit might actually be Chiya's Mom somehow. That would be interesting and her dark appearance would explain why those things call her a traitor and such. I hope they explain in the last episode, or episodes depending on how long it lasts. I look forward to more!

Seiren:

This was pretty good! We are seeing more relationship building for the arc to work out I assume. I don't know exactly what this is about, though. Is it a coming of age tale or a "being childish is actually great never let go of your hobbies", sort of thing? It is a romance but I can't figure out what this is trying to say. It was a cute episode, pretty good. I enjoyed it well enough!

Fuuka:

This was really good! The band broke up because of Fuuka leaving. For once the main boy was actually the one that took the initiative. He gets everyone back together fairly quickly. Except Fuuka, who seems to be keeping her distance. I can't wait to see her come back. Especially since they basically confirmed he loves her, not that idol girl. Even when she pressed her breasts against him and tried to get him to take her here and there in the bedroom. Yes that actually happened, I'm not even making that up. Either way I'm very happy and loved this episode!

Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu:

This episode had our club biking to see the windmills. They met with another veteran team and learned how to keep the bike going fast. That and a few other tidbits like that. I cringe when the blonde speaks though. I know she's supposed to be a foreigner, but even I can speak the words better than she can and I'm only trying to learn and doing it slowly! A slightly more interesting episode but pretty average regardless.

Schoolgirl Strikers: Animation Channel:

This episode...and I'm not even kidding with you guys...featured our girl on vacation. All of them not just the main team. They did snow activities and here's the crazy part. They actually fought a yeti. I know it sounds completely made up but I swear to god it happened. It was pretty slow other than that but still. It was an OK episode from this show and pretty crazy. I liked it I guess.

Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen:

This was really cool. I loved this fight so much this whole episode was a great defining moment for Rin. He kicked ass and I loved watching him do it, especially when the flames purified the illness. The thing that made me mad to an intense degree though, was his brother hitting from fOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. I really don't like him. After all that Rin just wants to be loved and accepted and he still can't get it. Shiemi got development to! I loved seeing her rescue her friend like that. This was a great episode I can't wait to see the finale next week.

March 18th, Saturday:

Youjo Senki:

This was an action packed  episode. The action was really great and it was a fun watch because of how intense it was. This plan is full of risks which the episode clearly shows. Still they go forward with it with great results. This was a cool episode but mostly visually because it's mostly fight scenes! I really did enjoy it a lot despite that!

Time Bokan 24:

Final episode of this show. It was completely off the wall and ridiculous. The show certainly did well for its closing note. They referenced Boku No Hero Academia starting to air again soon and how they might get a cameo in it if they succeed. They didn't and got fired but it was still very amusing. We also saw the boyfriend kind of. He's under darma's mind control like I suspected, but not actually darma. We didn't see them reunite sadly. It was a great final episode for sure I liked this a lot.

Time Bokan 24 is a quirky little interesting case of a show. I give it a 6/10. Despite having it's fair share of duds and a very childish sense of humor it does have a more unique premise. It can get repetitive and does have plenty of stupidity in it. Despite that, it was a kinda enjoyable ride despite having it's fair share of flaws...well mostly enjoyable anyway.

Classicaloid:

This episode was actually more serious in tone than most of them are. Bach is finally doing villain stuff like we expected him to. Or at least how I expected him to. It was funny when they came to try to kidnap them but were easily overpowered. I'm curious about what will happen to everyone. I can't wait to see them all fight against the robot versions of themselves. This really was an awesome episode! I look forward to next time for sure! This was awesome!

Rewrite:Moon And Terra:

This was interesting. I can only imagine the pain the main character goes through. It was really intense him trying to protect her. Though I don't understand why he was so cruel to one of the main characters? What the heck was that about? Doesn't he know now she'll probably unleash all his power on him to get revenge for the pain he caused? Either way this was awesome and I can't wait to see how the grand finale goes!

Demi-chan wa Kataritai:

This episode was so sweet. It got close to getting me into tears. They are all so thankful to the teacher and made him so happy. The vice president also took back what he said and made him feel better. The students talking about how the demi's should be treated was interesting as well. You could compare it to a lot of the stuff people deal with in real life. This was a really great episode! I look forward to the last one!

3-Gatsu No Lion:

The finale of this show was really sweet and cute. It broke my heart seeing the flashbacks and how bad he was treated. Them making a shogi and science club together was really sweet as well. I was sad this was the end but they already announced another season in the Fall which is good! I'm so glad!

Overall I give this show 8/10. It isn't entirely in my type of genre and does have some slower points but it was still a very good show! The art and characters are amazing, and it's' well written! Even if it's not typically a genre you would watch I recommend it! Speaking as someone who tends to not really like more slice of life things, this was really good! I can't wait for more in the Fall!

Sengoku Choujuu Giga:

This was really funny and cute! The brothers are so nice even though he's technically only half-brother. I heard  that was frowned upon back then. I love how nice and sweet they are towards each other. Even them shaving his brother so he'd stand out. I loved this I think it was my favorite episode of this thus far! I hope they appear again!

Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikari:

We are at the second to last episode! This episode was much more battle heavy. I'm excited to see them free their friend turned demon. It was really emotionally intense it made me want to yell at the screen. It was really awesome I loved this episode! I can't wait to see how this all ends it's so intense!

Note: SpiritPact and BanG Dream don't seem to on today. If they show up this week I'll just add them tomorrow or the day after that.

March 19th, Sunday:

Tales of Zestiria the X (2017):

This episode tugs at the heart! The edgy one with the hat is gone, he died protecting Rose! We got to see his eyes right at the end to from under his hat! In all seriousness, I'm going to miss him a lot. I did like that character a lot. He was really cool. They better kick ass to avenge his death! The parting scene between him and Rose was so sweet, handled very well and the highlight of the episode. I loved it!

Idol Jihen:

The bill passed. I have no idea how, but it passed. Natsuki earned her hope again by going back to the people she helped. That whole scene was very sweet and inspiring! They are obviously going to fight against it of course! The scene where the brunette realizes that no one seems to care and life continues on as normal. It was an intense moment, and I look forward to seeing how this ends! This was a good episode!

ēlDLIVE:

This episode was pretty good! The new character is good but...again with the pervert thing? I feel like we did this like 4 times now. It's an old gag not all the character's are going to be perverts! They're also working on a new case. Honestly this episode was just average to me. It didn't really stand out to me very much. I guess it was more of a setup episode. Oh well.

Nyanko Days:

Oh hey the humans and cats together played a more important role this time around. I didn't know you could bring cats to a festival! I thought they weren't allowed but I guess in this show it's OK! That's nice but two of them wandered off and the girls have no idea where to look. They have a bad sense of direction it seems. They'll be found though, I"m sure. This was a cute episode I liked it! I also loved the black cat being shy, that was adorable!

Little Witch Academia:

This was really cool! I love Akko, I can personally relate to her in so many ways. I love her trying to improve! I believe she will be like chariot one day! That part at the end was the most interesting. What can she do with the world's thing? Why are they keeping it from her? Of course it was also sweet Akko choosing her friends before anything else. I loved this episode a lot! I do have a theory about the world thing, maybe that's the reason not as many witches are being born. Maybe because of Akko more will be born again!

March 20th, Monday:

Gabriel Dropout:

This episode was pretty funny and really adorable! The redheaded demon adopted a dog. It was really cute how she wanted one! The other angel came down and tried to use computers. To be honest, thank god she didn't learn. She may become a gaming addict like Gabriel, haha! This was a pretty good one! I liked it!

Trickster: Edogawa Ranpo "Shounen Tanteidan" yori:

Next week this show ends. Fine with me since this episode was a mess. This show has so many dangling plot threads going on! What's even happening anymore!? God this show is such a mess! I don't even know what to say! That's it, just one big mess! If you can, skip it! It'll end happily of course but good god!

Chiruran: Nibun no Ichi:

Another more food centered episode. They all fought over some food. In the end the cute one got the food. It was ridiculous and funny. Not as funny as it normally is. It was OK though. I liked it well enough!

Onihei:

Yet another episode kind of similar to the last two. This episode bored me to tears. I really didn't like it much at all. I have nothing to really say about it. It was more emotionally intense in a way. I guess it was anyway. Too bad it's too important to skip on...and needed to understand the backstory and such. Oh well.

Overall:

This week was a pretty good one! I'm sad to see some of the good shows to end, but Super Lovers I'm thrilled to see go. My favorite ones this week was Blue Exorcist, Demi Chan and Little Witch Academia. My least favorite was Trickster.
