SDCC 2018: The Superior Octopus Gets New Series This Doc Ock-tober!

Marvel Comics announced today at the Spider-Man Panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego the new series THE SUPERIOR OCTOPUS, written by Christos Gage art by Mike Hawthorne and covers by Travis Charest. The new series is part of Marvel’s “Doc Ock-tober” promotion, coming this fall.

After "dying" in Superior Spider-Man Otto Octavius rose anew in Clone Conspiracy where he gained a new body. After being tied to Hydra and the take down of Parker Industries in Secret Empire, Otto earned a clean slate after protecting Aunt May from the Red Goblin. How will the Superior Octopus explore this new lease on life?

Christos Gage isn't new to the Superior Octavius, he had previously joined Dan Slott as a co-writer on the Superior Spider-Man series. THE SUPERIOR OCTOPUS #1 is scheduled for release on October 8.
