SDCC (and Emerald Comic Con): Hawkeye #19 Using Sign Language

The fan-favorite series Hawkeye is back after being gone since May. Issue 19 will be released next week and is making headlines recently. It was announced at Emerald Comic Con and was brought back to the media's attention thanks to the San Diego Comic Con. The comic will feature a defeaned Clint Barton (a.k.a. Hawkeye).  All the dialogue bubbles will be blank and there will be sign language.

Yesterday at Comic-Con International: San Diego, Marvel held their Spider-Verse panel (with a touch of Daredevil) the panel discussed all things Spider-Man (and again a little Daredevil) with the core focus being on their big event that Dan Slott has been working towards since Amazing Spider-Man #600. Marvel announced a few of the Spider-Verse tie-in mini-series, and the one that really grabbed me was the 3-issue SCARLET SPIDERS!

Review of Gallant Comics' "John Aman Amazing Man"





I read the first two issues of Gallant Comics' John Aman Amazing Man and have to say I found them both to be quite enjoyable.  The comics use public domain Golden Age characters such as  Amazing Man, Miss Masque  and the original Blue Beetle with a flair that harkens back to the glory days of comics.

Following their Hall H panel last night, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially revealed the box art and contents for the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of Batman: The Complete Television Series. Set to be released November 11, Batman: The Complete Television Series features all three classic seasons of the fan-favorite show spanning all 120 original broadcast episodes - completely remastered - as well as more than three hours of never-before-seen enhanced content including interviews with both Adam West (as Batman) and Burt Ward (as Robin).

SDCC: Avengers Panel Recap

The Avengers panel was recapped completely on a liveblog by Ryan Haupt and Patrick Cavanaugh, the Assistant Editor of Marvel.com. It was moderated by Nicke Lowe. Panelists included Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso, writer Rick Remender (Captain America, Black Science), writer Jason Aaron (Original Sin, Thor: God of Thunder), Nick Spencer (Secret Avengers, Morning Glories) and Nathan Edmonson (Black Widow, The Punisher). I will be recapping the juicy tidbits of Marvel news.

SDCC: Penguins of Madagascar


If you were a fan of the penguins in the movie Madagascar or the Penguins of Madagascar television series you are going to get a kick out of this. DreamWorks Animation has announced their upcoming movie, Penguins of Madagascar coming out November 26. Michael Colton and John Aboud are working together to write the screenplay and will be directed by Simon J. Smith. Staring in this film are Tom McGath as the voice of Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico, John Malkovich as Dr. Octavius Brine aka Dave,and Benedict Cumberbatch as Agent Classified.

SDCC: Legend Of Korra Panel News

SDCC: Korra Book 3 Changes To Digital


Legend of Korra fans have been on quite the roller coaster ride this year. The show is currently on Book 3 (Season 3) with "Change" being used as a theme and has gone through a few schedule changes already. But Nickelodeon isn't done yet as Legend of Korra is pulled from their TV Schedule and plans to make the jump to the digital screen.

Spinning out of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie is Sinister Six, a movie starring six of Spider-Man’s deadliest foes. This new film will be released on November 11th, 2016 while The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will be pushed back to 2018.  Originally, The Amazing Spider-Man 4 was supposed to come out in 2018.

SDCC: Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes


For those of you who enjoyed the Disney Infinity game, Disney Interactive has announced an updated version, Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes that is launching September 23. You are able to pre-order the starter pack today.  All the characters and power discs for the original 2013 Disney Infinity will be compatible with the game. Players can even craft their own worlds and games using any characters from both editions of Disney Infinity.
