Hollywood Reported broke the news that Zoe Saldana is in talks to play Gamora in James Gun's Guardians of the Galaxy. She will be joining Parks and Recreation's Chris Pratt and former wrestler Dave Bautista.
Saldana, who many know from Avatar and J.J Abrams' 2009 Star Trek movie, also played a gun toting bad ass in the 2011 film 'Colombiana'. I personally think that Saldana is a great fit for Gamora. Although 'Colombiana' wasn't the best movie, I think Saldana did a great job as the tough girl. Now we just need to wait and see who they cast as Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
