Last week Zack Snyder released the first image of Ben Affleck in the Batsuit along with the Batmobile from the upcoming Warner Bros and DC Entertainment Batman Vs Superman movie. Today we have word on the title of the movie along with the what appears to be the movies logo.
The title of this movie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice definitely suggests that this is a precursor to the much anticipated and recently announced Justice League movie.
I am personally torn with what I have seen so far. Who knew that Ben Affleck as Batman would be the least worrisome news that has come out of this project? I love the new Batsuit and the Batmobile but what worries me is what it all suggests, and that is a Batman: The Dark Knight Returns influences. Everything from this so far from the initial announcement quoting the comic to the reveal of the Batsuit and now the movies logo all screams Batman: The Dark Knight Returns to me. I loved the comic but I think the movie needs a different take since this will be the lead into the Justice League movie where the Justice League are just formed.
Principle photography is now underway on the Zack Snyder-helmed movie starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The movie is due for release on May 6, 2016. The movie also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred in the sequel, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane rerising their roles from Man Of Steel,
