Eight Archie and IDW Publishing Mash-Up Covers Unveiled

In celebration of their 75^th anniversary in 2016, Archie Comics is teaming up with their publishing partner IDW. There will be eight variant covers on IDW Publishing titles in tribute of Archie. Each cover will be drawn by a fan-favorite Archie artist.  

The crossover covers include the following:

 

JUDGE DREDD: MEGA-CITY ZERO #1 by Francesco Francavilla 

EMPIRE: UPRISING #7 by Barry Kitson  

BACK TO THE FUTURE #3 by Fernando Ruiz 

JEM & THE HOLOGRAMS #10 by Tania del Rio

THE X-FILES: SEASON 11 #5 by Robert Hack 

TRANSFORMERS #48 by Andrew Pepoy

ANGRY BIRDS: SUPER ANGRY BIRDS #4 by Dan Parent 

STAR TREK #52 by Dan Parent  

These comics will be released this December. I do wish these crossovers extended to the interior of these comics. Archie has a history of odd crossovers that actually sound like they worked out pretty well. He spent a vacation with a Predator and was hunted down by The Punisher. I’d love to see more whacky crossovers added to the bunch. What about you? Let me know in the comments below.
