The trailer also gives us a look at the years Danny Rand spent in the mystical city of K'un-Lun learning martial arts. We get glimpses of him in a makeshift costume, teaming up with Colleen Wing, and using his martial arts abilities while proclaiming he is the Iron Fist while taking on the various men and women who have begun infiltrating Rand Enterprises from the inside.
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.The fourth Marvel series on Netflix, following Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, Iron Fist stars Finn Jones as Iron Fist and Six Feet Under veteran Scott Buck as the showrunner. Iron Fist also stars Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Rosario Dawson and Jessica Jones veteran Carrie-Anne Moss. Marvel's Iron Fist premieres March 17, 2017 exclusively on Netflix. Iron Fist is expected to be followed later that year by The Defenders crossover, which will bring together all four Marvel series on Netflix.
