Now the DC Comics Original Animated Movies share a universe of which the Justice League Vs. Teen Titans original animated movie is a part of did well the studio decided that the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract can finally come to fruition. The original story that the animated feature is loosely based on took place in 1984's The Judas Contract from Tales of the Teen Titans #42-#44, and Teen Titans Annual #3 by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract will serve as a sequel to Justice League Vs. Teen Titans and will feature that version of the team recreating one of if not the definitive and most iconic storylines in the history of the Teen Titans. The story for Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is one of heartbreaking betrayal and will feature HIVE, Brother Blood, Deathstroke, Terra, Nightwing and more!
This is one of Miguel Ferrer's (Deathstroke) final performances before his passing of throat cancer earlier this year. Ferrer also voiced Vandal Savage in the Young Justice animated series that was recently brought back for a third season after being canceled.
Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is directed by Jay Oliva from a screenplay by Ernie Altbacker and J. M. DeMatteis, based on the original Teen Titans story by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Perez. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract features the voices of Christina Ricci as Terra, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Miguel Ferrer as Deathstroke, Stuart Allan as Robin, Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy, Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle, Kari Wahlgren as Starfire, and Sean Maher as Nightwing.
Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is expected to release on Blu-ray and DVD in late 2017.
