Aspen Comics and Marvel Team Up Again For Weapon X #1 Michael Turner Variant
Following their first successful team-up last year for the release of The Amazing Spider-Man #15 and coinciding with the release of the highly-anticipated film release of Logan this weekend, Aspen Comics and Marvel have collaborated once again for an all-new Michael Turner Aspen Store exclusive cover for this April’s Weapon X #1 release. Michael Turner created these images in 2007 for a proposed Wolverine mini-series, a collaboration between Michael and his long time friend Jeph Loeb. Now, Michael Turner’s beautiful pencils, as well as Peter Steigerwald’s amazing colors are available exclusively through Aspen Store!
The Weapon X #1 Aspen Store exclusive Michael Turner variant cover will feature three unique, full-color limited edition versions, all colored by superstar colorist Peter Steigerwald. Cover A of the Aspen Store exclusive Michael Turner Weapon X #1 will be limited to 3,000 copies, the Weapon X #1 Cover B will be limited to 2,000 copies and only available in the Weapon X #1 set of covers A and B, and an ultra-rare Weapon X #1 Old Man Logan Edition Cover C limited to 1,000 copies only available in the three cover set. All three covers will be available for pre-order on Aspen Store on Saturday, March 4th at 9:00 AM PST/12:00 Noon EST.
