Not long ago LucasFilm announced that the principle photography for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi  had finished in a tweet, and debuted the title and the logo of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi Today after the Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 - Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi Panel  they topped that and premiered the 1st trailer to the movie!

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi Opens December 15, 2017, Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, features returning franchise veterans Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO) and returning Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens cast members Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma and Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, joined by franchise newcomers Kelly Marie Tran as Rose, and Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern in undisclosed roles.
