- SHE-HULK: Cover by Duncan Fegredo is a homage to Herb Trimpe's Incredible Hulk #115. The cover here pits the Leader against Jennifer Walters and the title treatment suggests that Hulk will be renamed She-Hulk - which is surprising, despite Marvel E-i-C Axel Alonso's previous statements to the contrary.
- VENOM: Cover by Francesco Mattina is a homage to Steven McNiven's Amazing Spider-Man #546. The cover says that this is the start of a brand new arc in "Blood In The Water."

- IRON FIST: Cover by (unknown artist) is a homage to Dave Cockrum's Iron Fist #14. The original comic featured the very first appearance of Sabretooth, and it appears that this is "Reintroducing The Savagery Of Sabre-Tooth." Could this mean the Axis effect has worn off of Sabretooth?
- SPIDER-MAN VS. DEADPOOL: Cover by (unknown artist) is a homage to Steve Ditko's Amazing Spider-Man #34. The cover and title would suggest a return to a more antagonistic relationship between Spidey and Deadpool instead of their current bromance.
- THANOS: Cover by (unknown artist) is a homage to Mike Zeck's Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #12. The cover show Thanos emerging triumphant just as Doom did in that classic story. This could mean that will emerge victorious in his battle with his Phoenix-Powered son Thane from the September Solicitations.
- THE UNBELIEVABLE GWENPOOL: Cover by (unknown artist) is a homage to Jack Kirby's Fantastic Four #200. The cover shows Gwenpool taking on the Infamous Iron Man.

Marvel saved the best for last with six Comic Fronltine exclusive covers:
- MS. MARVEL: Cover by Jake Wyatt is a homage to Jack Kirby's Captain America #109. From the newspaper headlines she is breaking through it seems like all of Ms. Marvel's social activism has people calling into question where she stands.
- PETER PARKER: THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN: Cover by Paolo Siqueira is a homage to Al Milgrom's Captain America #260. Is Peter Parker going to jail? Could this be related to Parker Industries?
- THE FALCON: Cover by Elizabeth Torque is a homage to Ron Wilson's Iron Man #71. This is a new series, and The Falcon's first ongoing title, showing Sam Wilson in his new Falcon costume. What does this mean for the current avian-looking Falcon, Joaquin Torres?
- THE MIGHTY THOR: Cover by Stephanie Hans is a homage to Jim Starlin's iconic cover to The Death of Captain Marvel. "The Death of The Mighty Thor" could be literal or symbolic as Captain Mar-Vell died of cancer, which Jane Foster is currently fighting a losing battle with thanks to the power of Thor.
- Assuming this cover is meant to be taken literally, Jane Foster's time as Thor may be rapidly coming to a close. Perhaps Marvel Legacy won't have two Thors co-existing after all.
- MARVEL TWO-IN-ONE: THE THING & THE HUMAN TORCH: Cover by Edgar Delgado is a homage to Rich Buckler's Fantastic Four #159. Marvel Two-in-One seems to be the series Axel Alonso teased earlier this week with the up-close shot of The Thing wearing a belt buckle with a "2" on it. This appears to be the closest thing fans will get to an actual Fantastic Four comic in Legacy so far.
- WEAPON X: Cover by Val Staples is a homage to Barry Windsor Smith's original Weapon X mini-series. Interesting note, while most of these covers feature redacated creator credits, this cover confirms that writer Greg Pak will remain on board Weapon X this fall.
It’s truly a connection that spans the expansive Marvel Universe as we honor the past while embracing the present!
It all begins this September with MARVEL LEGACY #1, an over-sized 50-page one-shot special that sets the stage for a brand new future – and beyond!
