Comic Book Club 4 | Batman: The Long Halloween!

Welcome to the Comic Frontline Comic Book Club! Each month Jay will be announcing a TPB (Trade Paperback) or OGNs (Original Graphic Novels) selected for us to read that month. October is all about All Hallows Eve or Halloween so we thought it would be the perfect time to discuss BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale! Players Unknown Battlegrounds (XBox One) First Impression

Battlegrounds a game created by Brendan Greene inspired by the 2000 film Battle Royale. The game is a one hundred player versus player battle royale game, players parachute down to a large map that will slowly get smaller and smaller. Also to note Battlegrounds is not a finalized game yet, the game at this point in time is still in alpha testing phase. It was released in early alpha back in March of this year (2017) on PC and to date has sold over twenty million copies. Now finally it has landed on console, well Xbox One more specifically. So I finally got to play it….I can say with confidence it can only get better from here, right!? I hope!

Friday The 13th Game Review: “Double XP Weak-END!”

Friday the 13th The game was released on May 26th 2017 for $40.00(US) and is available on PC, PS4, and X-Box One.

Friday The 13th The Game shows a lot of potential and when you actually get to play a game as Jason or a Councilor it's a lot of fun. However constant glitches, bugs, server drops, and all around issues hold this game back from reaching it's full potential. It may be a ton of fun but I'm not quite sure it's there yet...especially for it's asking price and the frustration that comes with actually getting into a game.

This was a really hefty week for books, quite possibly one of the longer of my top pick lists to date! All New All Different Marvel powers on, and FINALLY Secret Wars actually continues. DC starts up a new miniseries and continues its weekly series. Image has a returning title this week and I’m really looking forward to this next chapter of the series. Double Take returns this week with their 10 issue #2’s, interesting books if you like a unique takes on the Night of The Living Dead Universe. So with all these new series beginning we must now make our choices of which books are worthy of a pickup and which do we leave behind. Lots of Books in the “Other Books To Consider” category worthy of a check out as well. So without further a due the Top Picks.
