WWE And TNA Wrestling Review for the Week of 4/6/14

NEW ERA BEGINS NOW

Before I begin this week review I have to say WrestleMania 30 was very good in my opinion. Having Daniel Bryan finally winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the biggest stage of them all was a good choice. The only downfall was Undertaker losing the streak (21-1) to Brock Lesnar. Rumor has it that Undertaker decide before WrestleMania he was going to call it quits and wanted Lesnar to end the streak. But really Lesnar comes on he is the last person that should ended the streak. I have nothing against Lesnar but it should have been either Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 25 and 26), Triple H (WrestleMania 27 and 28) or even CM Punk (WrestleMania 29). But can probably call this now Hall of Fame 2015 will be headlined by The Undertaker. We also shouldn't remember his career just for the streak but everything he did in the business.

WrestleMania 30 Week Begins Now

Monday Day Night begins with The Undertaker coming out.  He says he does claim to be better than any of his WrestleMania victims but he goes beyond further than anyone else. He asks Lesnar what was he actually going to try and do to beat him. Undertaker says he knows Lesnar is so dangerous but there are people who believe. He says those people are believe in the streak. Lesanr and Heyman come out. Heyman says Brock Lesnar doesn't have to win, Undertaker has not to lose the match. He says it only take a moment for Lesnar to hit the F-5 and the streak will end. Lesnar walks to the ring but back up. He comes back toward the ring a goes onto the apron but again fakes trying to enter. Heyman was on the other side of the ring by the announce table. Heyman pretends to go into the ring but slide a chair inside. Undertaker was distracted and Lesnar goes into the ring. Undertaker throws a few punches but Lesnar clotheslines and hits the F-5 on Undertaker. This was a good segment however if Lesnar hits the F-5 and ends the streak at WrestleMania I'm sorry but I'm done with wrestling.

Before I begin this week wrestling review I want to apologize for not writing a review last week. Last week I had to work the whole week and unfortunately didn't have a chance to watch any of the shows and time to write the review. Also Saturday I finally order the WWE Network and I highly recommended it.

WWE and TNA Wrestling Review for the Week of 3/9/14

The host of WrestleMania Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan comes out to begin Monday Night Raw this week. Supposedly he has a big announcement about WrestleMania. He starts out saying his last two weeks has been off the chain with all the welcoming back home from people and about the positive feedback about the Network. He talks about being able to watch his all time favorite wrestling matches. He mostly talks about his match against Andre the Giant and him lifting Andre the Giant up. He said he came up with a historical idea. He said with celebrating 30 years there will be a 30 man over the top battle royal in memory of Andre the Giant and the winner will receive a trophy to honor the late and great Andre the Giant. He should a video of the trophy and it was unbelievable in a good way.  John Cena comes out (running normal) and they salute each other and hug. He says he came out to thank Hogan and welcome him home. He says Hogan is back where he belongs and its unbelievable. He said his favorite moment was when Hogan lifted Andre up and watching it at home. Cena does what you going to do brother (people boo) and says he is going to enter himself into the battle royal. The Wyatt Family comes out now.

WWE And TNA Wresting Review for the Week of 2/23/14

Before I begin this Wrestling recap WWE began a new era this Monday. The WWE Network was launched. Did anyone purchased it?

Monday Night Raw begins this week with them showing the WrestleMania sign and Hulk Hogan music hits everyone on their feet. Michael Cole, Jerry The King Lawler and JBL were also on their feet. He cant talk because Universe it chanting his name but finally says "Well let me tell you something brother and tonight I finally am home." The fans go crazy. He talks about making history in the past and today it continues because of the WWE Universe and because of them now there is the WWE Network. Then he hypes WrestleMania 30 and announces he is the official host of WrestleMania 30. He says he has one more thing and that is "What you going to do? What you going to do with Hulkamania runs wild on you?" I thought someone will come out maybe Real Americans but nothing. They do announce Daniel Bryan will face Kane and Brock Lesnar would appear. Also a rematch from the Elimination Chamber pay per view of Batista vs. Del Rio which would be the first match of the night.

WWE And TNA Wresting Review for the Week of 2/9/14

The show starts out with the Raw guest host Betty White accompanied by the Big Show. She says she is so happy to be there. The WWE Universe chants her name and Big Show asks what does she have plan for tonight and she says she is going to kick butt. The Authority comes out and interrupt. They both hug her and Triple H and Big Show have a stare down. The Authority go to the ring and Triple H says they need to clear something up from last week.. He is if Daniel Bryan won they will consider him a possible face of the company. Just like the will do with the other participants in the chamber match. Randy Orton interrupts now and Stephanie McMahon asks him if he really going to come out and do this again. She tells him to go back to the back and get ready for the main event. He say no he isn't here to do that but is there to apologize to Triple H. He says he  is the heart and soul.

Introducing Richie

Hello, First of all allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Richard but everyone calls me Richie. I have a Bachelor  of Arts degree in Mass Communication with a Concentration in Journalism from The University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

During my junior year in college I was apart of the student newspaper as Sports Journalist/Editor and my senior year I became Editor-in-Chief.  I love to watch sports such as baseball, wrestling, sometimes football and basketball.

My goal on here is on a weekly basis post recaps of WWE Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown as well as TNA Impact Wrestling. I will also post my thoughts about how each show did and if they could change anything.
