DC Comics Proudly Presents: "The New 52" Hits 52!
Celebrating 52 issues of incredible storytelling, DC Entertainment’s May 2016 variant cover theme will pay homage to the #1 issues of eleven comics that debuted in 2011 when DC Entertainment rebooted their superhero publishing line and revitalized the comics industry as a whole. It was a momentous occasion then, and is an anniversary to celebrate now!

Batman #43 Review: Does the New Batman Finally Bloom?
By: Nicole D'Andria
This is the most promising issue yet featuring the new
Batman. It gives me hope that the series will bloom into something wonderful.
But there are still a couple thorns here and there. Warning, after this
sentence there will be some SPOILERS
for the previous couple of issues, including the identity of the current Batman, and
minor spoilers for this issue if you haven’t seen the preview for it.

New 52 Cancellations in March 2015—Is this the end of the New 52?
By: Nicole D'Andria
DC has been making a lot of waves since their event, Convergence, was announced. This event will
bring DC comic book characters from the 90s, New 52 and pre-New 52 together (if
you’re interested in learning more about Convergence,
check out Jay’s
coverage). Many fans, like myself, thought this event may mark a return
to the pre-New 52 Universe and possibly end the New 52. While I would be okay
with the New 52 continuing (but the pre-New 52 taking prominence) it looks like
the New 52 may be ending.

Batman: The Dark Knight #28 Review: Father Knows Best
By: Nicole D'Andria
Its been awhile since I took a look at the lackluster Batman: The Dark Knight. There are so
many more Batman-related series than there need to be. The only reason this
used to stand out was because there would be cameos of Justice League
characters like Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash. I gave up reviewing it as of
issue 6. Since then, the stories have mostly been bland and forgettable.
However, this issue introduces a new villain that I have to talk about.

Justice League 3000 #2 Review
Jay Reyes
Justice league 3000 #2 is a strange book, I don’t know exactly where the book is going, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The book feels unique but has some missed opportunities.
