DC Comics and IDW Publishing join forces for a comic called Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This November Batman will be teaming up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and perhaps grab some Gotham City Pizza on the Batcard,.
The mini-series will see Krang transport the Turtles and Shredder to Gotham City in hopes of ridding himself of his enemies for good. As you'd expect, it's not long before the Turtles meet up with Batman and battle a legion of Gotham villains in their quest to return home.
The series has a strong Batman creative connection, as it'll be written by James Tynion IV (Batman Eternal) and drawn by Freddie E. Williams II (Robin). Meanwhile, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman and other unnamed artists will be providing variant covers.
“I’ve been extremely luck to spend so much time working in Gotham City, but it’s always a thrill to see the world of Batman through new eyes. Taking the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on a Gotham adventure is a fanboy dream come true.”
- James Tynion IV
