SDCC 2015: Marvel Animation Presents Panel!

The Marvel Animation Panel began with Wacker thanking the audience for waking up to watch cartoons on a Saturday morning. He then tells the crowd that Jeph Loeb texted him last night saying live action audience would be louder than the animation audience. Wacker proved him wrong!

Disney XD wanted more of the show so it will return for a fourth season, making it the longest running Marvel animated series ever!

Sneak preview on Saturday, September 5. There will also be shorts to introduce all of the Guardians to audiences. Agents Fitz and Simmons will both be there! Unfortunately, they did't have a clip from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Instead, they showed the pilot episode!

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has all the action and adventure you'd expect! The creators wanted to try to capture the look and feel of the movie. The artists are focusing on bringing the cast's performances into the animation. The show is another plateau, according to RadomskiThe creators wanted to dig deep into the cosmic Marvel universe to bring into the show. Radomski mentioned that he was impressed by how Kevin Michael Richardson can capture so many different emotions and personality with just the three words, "I am Groot."

The floor then opened up to questions from the audience.

A young Ms. Marvel had the first question. She wondered how Ultron will return for season 3. Wacker asked if she was scared of Ultron in the movie, and she said, "Nope."

Wacker said it's okay if she asks a hundred questions because there are a bunch of 40-year-olds behind her.

Next question is if Ms. Marvel will join the Avengers. Wacker said the show will focus on her as much as possible and something he's excited about. The young Ms. Marvel joined the panel on stage!

The next question came from a 27-year-old. He wanted to know about Hulk And The Agents Of S.N.A.S.H. series. Wacker said Guardians of The Galaxy will take the place of that show on the animation schedule. Radomski then pointed out that the Hulk is in Marvel's Avengers Assemble so he has plenty of screen time.

Cort said there will be other opportunities to see Hulk outside of Marvel's Avengers Assemble.

Question about how an upcoming Civil War arc and that we've seen the Avengers separate in Season 2. Wacker points out the difference between Avengers Disassemble vs. Civil War. In Civil War, the whole world will be divided, not just the Avengers splitting ways.

Next question was about whether or not the animated Guardians show can highlight characters like Adam Warlock. Wacker differed to Ms. Marvel, who says, "They should."

Cort and Wacker mentioned we will meet a lot of characters along the way.

Question about more Deadpool appearances. Cort said not at the moment.

Question about the time stone being in the Guardians series. Wacker said we will see a lot more stones.

Question about if we'll ever see an animated Carnage. Wacker says we will see Carnage in Ultimate Spider-Man.

Question about more girl super heroes in animated series. Wacker asked if the audience wanted to see more, and they go nuts, and it all starts with Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel.
