SDCC: Sam Raimi Says ‘Evil Dead’ Coming To TV!!
At Comic-Con International: San Diego Sam Raimi in his role as producer of the video game adaptation The Last of Us, surprised the audience by revealing he’s writing an Evil Dead television show with Bruce Campbell, Rob Tapert and his brother Ivan Raimi.
For fans of Evil Dead/Army of Darkness have been asking for sequels and a series for years. This past year Dynamite Entertainment released a new comic series for Army of Darkness, recently ending with issue 8 last month and continuing in "Ash Gets Hitched." Raimi said he and Bruce Campbell have been trying to put together some kind of Evil Dead project for a while now. Will this be what Army of Darkness fans have been waiting for, I guess we'll all have to wait and find out.
