In the wake of Avengers And X-Men: Axis, a new team of Uncanny Avengers form. The team seems to be made up of former villains with Rogue & Scarlet Witch being the only returning members of the former Unity Squad.
The new Unity Squad consists of Rogue, Scarlet Witch, Captain America (Sam Wilson) Quicksilver, The Vision, Brother Voodoo, and the still inverted Sabretooth. Marvel released two new teasers for the relaunched series that focus on the brother and sister team of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver which touches on the Axis revelation that Magneto isn't their father.
I find this interesting in the wake of Axis, that these are the ones that were highlighted first and then you think back to New York Comic Con this year when Marvel sent out a teaser of the siblings in a searchlight with "No More Mutants" in the background.
When this image was released fans speculated a revisiting of the House of M storyline, while other speculated it could be an anti-mutant rejuvenation campaign in the wake of Axis. But with the recent revelation, could the implications be larger? Marvel and FOX both share the movie rights to the siblings, with FOX not allowed to mention the Avengers, and Marvel being unable to acknowledge that they are mutants. Could the revelation that Magneto is not their father mean that Marvel is going to make it so they are "No More Mutants"? This could be a huge move for Marvel with fans of the characters already torn on the reveal that Magneto isn't their father.
