Power Rangers Week - Day 3: Top 44 6th / Auxiliary Rangers!

Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 25 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the franchise celebrates its milestone anniversary year with the 25th season, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel currently airing on Saturdays at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon in the U.S. To mark this Morphinomenal was the first OFFICIAL POWER RANGERS DAY! But I don't think a day is enough, so here on Comic Frontline, this is POWER RANGERS WEEK! A week filled with my list of Tops such as Top Seasons, Top Theme Song/Intros etc and to celebrate today I will be going over EVERY 6th or Auxiliary Ranger to date!
 As previously established, these rankings do not reflect their reflective series. I also am not including Dark Ranger or Solar Ranger as we have not seen them in action as a Ranger yet. I also am not counting the Thunder Rangers from Ninja Storm as I consider them just Rangers from another team that joins the main one.

44. Power Rangers S.P.D. - Nova Ranger

We saw her for like 5 seconds.

43. Power Rangers Megaforce - Robo Knight

He disappeared and wasn't missed.


42. Power Rangers Dino Charge / Dino Super Charge - Purple Ranger - Albert Smith

He wasn't a Ranger long if you blinked you missed him.


41. Power Rangers S.P.D. - Kat Ranger - Kat Manx

I love Kat but it sucks she had a very limited time in her Ranger form.


40. Power Rangers Ninja Steel / Super Ninja Steel - Red (Silver) Ranger - Mick Kanic

I also love Mick, but he was a Ranger for a short time.


39. Power Rangers Ninja Steel / Super Ninja Steel - Red (Gold) Ranger - Dane Romero

I want to see more of Dane as a Ranger.

38. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - Green Ranger - Tom Oliver

We didn't get enough of Tom either, I hope he pops up somewhere.

37. Power Rangers Turbo - Blue Senturion

I think he is funny, but not much of a personality, or story.

36. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy - Magna Defender

I think the Magna Defender is a character who had such high potential but was never met. The mystery and darkness behind him had me wanting more.


35. Power Rangers Zeo - Gold Ranger - Trey of Triforia

I loved the Gold Ranger, even when he first appeared but once his identity was revealed it was such a letdown and I just wanted all three Treys gone.


34. Power Rangers S.P.D. - Omega Ranger - Sam

I like Sam, but we never got to know him outside of being the Omega Ranger. The story behind the creation of the Omega Ranger (in real life) is more interesting.


33. Power Rangers Mystic Force - White Mystic Ranger - Udonna

Another case of untapped potential.

32. Power Rangers Mystic Force - Solaris Knight - Daggeron

For a Sixth Ranger, he seemed the least special for the season.


31. Power Rangers Operation Overdrive - Mercury Ranger - Tyzonn

May not be a great season but I thought Tyzonn was a nice addition to the team.

30. Power Rangers Samurai / Super Samurai - Gold Ranger - Antonio Garcia

My 2nd favorite Samurai Ranger second to Lauren.

29. Power Rangers Super Megaforce - Silver Ranger - Orion

My favorite Super Megaforce Ranger and he was awesome on HyperForce.


28. Power Rangers Dino Charge / Dino Super Charge - Silver Ranger - Zenowing

I love the story but wanted/needed more.

27. Power Rangers Dino Charge / Dino Super Charge - Aqua Ranger - James Navarro

Again I loved the story just wanted more.

26. Power Rangers Dino Charge / Dino Super Charge - Graphite Ranger - Prince Phillip III

The season suffered from so many Auxiliary Rangers that they never got the story they deserved.


25. Power Rangers Ninja Steel / Super Ninja Steel - Gold Ranger - Levi Weston / Aiden Romero

Levi's charm alone scores him this high, but he also has a nice story as well.


24. Power Rangers Dino Charge / Dino Super Charge - Purple Ranger - Kendall Morgan

I love it when the man or the woman behind the desk steps up and becomes a Ranger.


23. Power Rangers Dino Charge / Dino Supercharge - Gold Ranger - Sir Ivan Of Zandar

Sir Ivan was just pure fun, loved him.

22. Power Rangers R.P.M. - Ranger Series Silver - Gemma

I loved her in R.P.M. and was so glad to see her shine in Dimensions In Danger.


21. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - White Ranger - Tommy Oliver

Tommy lost some of his appeal as the God, oops White Ranger.


20. Power Rangers Jungle Fury - Rhino Ranger - Dominic Hargan

The only bad thing about Dom was that I didn't get enough of him. I loved his role on the show.


19. Power Rangers Mystic Force - Wolf Warrior - Leanbow

One of the best villain-to-hero story with the best journey to becoming the hero.

18. Power Rangers Dino Thunder - White Dino Ranger - Trent Mercer

Trent had a great story and a great character arc.

17. Power Rangers Dino Thunder - Black Dino Ranger - Dr. Tommy Oliver

Yes, he is an Auxiliary Ranger he wasn't always around had a different morpher etc he fits the mold. I prefer this Tommy Oliver on this show, he wasn't trying to be the God Ranger Savior.

16. Power Rangers R.P.M. - Ranger Series Gold - Gem

IT'S BOOM TIME!!!! He would have been one spot below Gemma, but his appearances on HyperForce made him even more awesome!


15. Power Rangers In Space - Silver Ranger - Zhane

The fun and charm earn Zhane this spot!


14. Power Rangers Wild Force - Lunar Wolf Ranger - Merrick Balitou

Yes, that is right, his name is Merrick BALITOU, not Baliton, I don't care what Amit Bhuamik says he said "I am Merrick Balitou" don't believe me watch it with closed captions on. But why this spot? Zen Aku!

13. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy - Magna Defender - Mike Corbett

Mike would have made an awesome leader of the team and it is a shame he wasn't used more.


12. Power Rangers S.P.D. - Shadow Ranger - Anubis "Doggie" Cruger

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog that counts and Doggie has a lot of fight in him!

11. Power Rangers Jungle Fury - Elephant Spirit Ranger - Master Phant

I love American originals and I loved the Spirit Rangers! These are all going to be the same and just separated by how I liked their overall look.

I love American originals and I loved the Spirit Rangers! These are all going to be the same and just separated by how I liked their overall look.

I love American originals and I loved the Spirit Rangers! These are all going to be the same and just separated by how I liked their overall look.

8. Power Rangers Jungle Fury - Wolf Ranger - Robert "R.J." James

Love R.J.! He is the most chill mentor but steps it up and becomes a Ranger!

7. Power Rangers Turbo - Phantom Ranger

I love the Phantom Ranger, he has the best story because of the mystery and I NEED TO KNOW WHO HE IS!!!!


6. Power Rangers Ninja Storm - Green Samurai Ranger - Cam Watanabe 

Talk about the man in the chair, Cam is the ultimate one. He went from tech support and wanting to be a Ranger to joining them. I also loved his journey to getting that power from his mom.

5. Power Rangers Time Force - Quantum Ranger - Eric Myers

Eris has a great backstory, he wasn't bad but was a loner and Daniel Southworth just makes him more endearing even when Eric is being a jerk.

4. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue - Titanium Ranger - Ryan Mitchell

The very first American original Ranger and he had such an awesome origin story, he wasn't evil because of a spell, but because he was raised by demons to be evil then he had a curse on top of that!

3. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - Ranger Slayer - Kimberly Hart

Another American original Ranger and the only one on the list from the comics, because we haven't seen them as Rangers in the comics yet, so that is why the other ones aren't on here. Kimberly is just badass as the Ranger Slayer she gives Reinforcements From The Future Jen a run for her money!


2. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - Green Ranger - Tommy Oliver

The original 6th Ranger and Tommy before the Grid went to his head. I loved that even after he joined the team he was faced with tragedy and strife.

1. Power Rangers Zeo - Gold Ranger - Jason Lee Scott

Come on! He is Jason and he is the 6th Gold Ranger! He was amazing in the role, so badass he didn't even need a morpher to morph!
