Toy Fair 2019 - Power Rangers Comics, Apparel, Toys & Show News!


Today is the first day of Toy Fair 2019 and Power Rangers was first up for their presentation and it was not limited to just toys. Hasbro owns the entire IP of Power Rangers and they took this opportunity to give us news on all fronts from comics to the apparel to the show and of course the toys.

COMICS


Starting in June 2019 Ryan Parrott (Go Go Power Rangers) will be writing BOTH Go Go Power Rangers and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Go Go Power Rangers team will remain, Parrott and Eleonora Carlini, while Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will be Parrott and Daniele Di Nicuolo. MMPR will be starting a brand new arc with #40 titled "Necessary Evil" and will feature the White Ranger. Read more about it here!

We got closer looks at the apparel from Hasbro including Power Rangers hats and shirts but the belle of the ball is the POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS: Grid Battleforce "Tactical Gear" backpack!

In the BEAST MORPHERS TV series, the laid-back Devon Daniels prefers a life of video games and no responsibility but steps up as leader of the BEAST MORPHERS as the Cheetah-powered Red Ranger. The BEAST MORPHERS RED RANGER Figure includes two different heads that can be swapped—one of the Ranger in his helmet, and another without as Devon Daniels from BEAST MORPHERS, a set of swappable hands, a Cheetah Beast Blaster, Beast-X Saber, and a teleporting effect for it. MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS GOLDAR

(Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $22.99/Available: October 25, 2019)


The Goldar GameStop exclusive was revealed at Toy Fair 2019 to be a part of the second wave. Goldar will come with a set of swappable hands, his sword and a purple energy effect for it.

We also got some more Playskool and Micro Morphers.

The Basic 6" Figure Line gave us some new characters including our first look at the main team, the Silver Ranger, Gold Ranger, Red Ranger in Red Fury Mode, Evox, Blaze, and Roxy. Also, you can see that the Yellow Ranger will have more articulation than previous female rangers with her skirt opening to all more range of movement.




 All three Beast Bots, Cruise, Jax, and Smash were on display.




Finally, we have the Beast-X Zords. The Beast Racer ($29.99 + tax), Beast Wheeler ($24.99 + tax) and Beast Chopper ($24.99 + tax) Zords will form the Beast-X Megazord at a combined price of $79.99 plus tax. You will have to buy the Beast Jet ($24.99+ tax) and the Beast Wrecker ($29.99 + tax) Zords to combine with the Beast-X Megazord to form the Beast-X Ultrazord for $134.95 plus tax for all five individual Zords.

SHOW










The people who attended the presentation got a sneak peek at the show through a sizzler reel that won't be online until yet so the rest of the news can be processed by the fans. But Power Rangers Now posted a clip of it via their Twitter.



Currently, Power Rangers is entering its 26th continuous year on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the franchise continues now under Hasbro with the 26th season, Power Rangers Beast Morphers is set to premiere on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 8:00 AM ET on Nickelodeon in the U.S.
