Whoever said that an Ant can't move a rubber tree plant never met Marvel's Ant-Man. The highly anticipated movie has been faced with obstacles that might have blocked smaller heroes to make their big screen debut.
Ant-Man's journey with Edgar Wright began in 2003 and spanned a few companies who throughout development had the rights to the character. From casting, to choice of who will be the man in the helmet and the departure of fan favorite director Wright, fans have went from excited anticipation to concern. But it takes more than that to stop the little movie that could.
The film is set to start shooting in August with the original cast as seen in the beautiful Pre-Production Conceptual Art Poster by Andy Park shows Paul Rudd Scott Lang/Ant-Man and his mentor Hank Pym as played by Michael Douglas. The poster that was created for SDCC joins Marvel's tradition of Pre-Comic-Con conceptual poster reveals. Ant-Man is slated to debut July 17, 2015 and despite not filming yet, it will likely make an appearance at Marvel Studios' Hall H Panel Saturday, July 26, along with other films that are currently scheduled for release -- including next year's Avengers: Age of Ultron.
